Progress with cursive!

This morning James was drawing super cars, so we took the opportunity to write something short about his super cars, here you go, his very first cursive writing!

We practice writing uva grape, the flour tray is priceless to get the connections between the letters right

he retraces the sandpaper letter before proceeding with writing

Here we go rana (frog)
ed eccoci rana, quasi perfetto.

And now he practices it on the mini chalkboard and he gets it right, expect for the direction of the a, so we trace it again on the sandpaper letter

so he turns the chalkboard and practices the a alone, and he nearly makes it

eventually he has worked it out, what a great satisfaction, he has mastered tracing the a in the right direction!

This morning she started reviewing her letters before proceeding with new ones

Number rods. She can recognise number rods by sight already, without counting them. She counts them afterwards to check she got it right.
Aste numeriche.
