Annalaura was into her female Elf figure this morning, so, I took the opportunity to ask her the names she had given to her horse and Elf, and offered her to write it with the moveable alphabet. It was good, she enjoyed it, but as it was a long time since she used it, she was asking me to find the sounds on the sandpaper letters so that she could match it with a letter from the moveable alphabet. We had started word number 3, giumenta, mare, in English, when she started to want to write with a pen, so I got a blackboard, lined it, so that she could place the letters on the lined blackboard, but at that point she lost concentration, started practicing letters on small blackboard, and then she dropped the activity. It is not going to take just one day, is it? At least it is a step forward.
