La piccola non ha problemi ha pelare le carote e affettare le zucchine, dopo le ha anche cucinate in padella.

La piccola durante le feste di Natale ha chiesto di scrivere, abbiamo ripassato altre lettere con le lettere smerigliate, poi ha scritto quello che voleva. Lori e' un suo caro amico che ha in montagna e ci aveva giocato per l'ultimo dell'anno.
My little one wanted to write during the Xmas holidays. We reviewed a few letters first with the sand paper letters, then he wrote the words she wanted including the name of a dear friend of hers she played with for year's eve in the mountains.

Qui James mostra a Valentino il gioco del cambio o gioco della Banca per l'addizione, buttiamo due quantita' indefinite nella tovaglia, raccogliamo la tovaglia, scuotiamo, mettiamo giu' e organizziamo per categoria, abbiamo sommato, e fatto il cambio.
Here James shows Valentino the change game, or Bank game, we through two amounts in the table cloth, we gather the cloth, we pick it up, shake it, and put it down, we organise the materials per category and apply the addition change game.

Esercizi di formazione dei numeri fatti da Valentino e anche James, io dicevo l'importo a voce e loro  lo rappresentavano prima coi materiali poi con i cartellini con i numeri.

Utilizzando il vascello dei pirati che qui non si vede, scrivono parole uno in corsivo italiano, l'altro in stampato minuscolo. Inoltre hanno scritto anche nelle due lingue
Using the pirate ship, they both write key names of the ship respectively in their own scritp one in cursive, the other in loswer case. Moreover they write each name in both languages.

Annalaura utilizza la pasta per biscotti che avevamo in frigo, in totale autonomia.
AnnaLaura prepares the biscuits all by herself.

Non male per una di quattro anni, tutti i biscotti sono formati perfettamente.
Not bad for a four year old, all biscuits are perfectly shaped and taken out of the mould.

Dopo scuola, si divertono a fare una partita di monopoli in Italian.

Primo giorno in Inghilterra. Mentre finisco di mettere via le valige, Annalaura inizia a fare i cilindri sonori. La presentazione non e' perfetta, i colori sono nell'ordine errato, ma oggi ho messo tutto a posto.

Libro oggetto della lettura di oggi
(Si prega di notare, che apparentemente ha letto poco, ma e' il primo giorno di scuola in UK, abbiamo fatto fatica a ritrovare il ritmo e a stare nei tempi, e comunque ha letto piu' di cosi', ha letto altri capitoli di questo libro, ma si e' perso d'animo davanti a termini che non capiva, e si e' spazientito, anche se li abbiamo cercati sul dizionario come galeone, ma oggi si e' spazientito con tutte le attivita'). PS Oggi abbiamo anche fatto un gran discorso sulla disciplina e il senso di responsabilita' e credo che abbia proprio capito).
Book he has read today (please note he read little as it was the first day of school in UK and we struggled with rythm and getting back into it, but later he read another book to his sister) He also read other chapters other than this, but he got depressed at some terms he didn't understand so we also used  the dictionary to understand what a galeone was etc.) PS today we also had a conversation about duties, responsabilities and I think he realised how he needs to be.
